Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and experience with The Perfect Match. Our team are always on hand to discuss your needs, and you process returns through the following steps.

Our policy lasts 30 days from delivery of your product as registered in NZ Post.
If 30 days have gone by since the delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we cannot accept a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, with tags still attached, and in original condition. It must also be in the original packaging.

We accept both refunds and exchange for store credit within the 30 day period.

JEWELLERY

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Refunds on full price items
Once you've filled in a returns request please allow 5 working days for it to be processed. Please note refunds can only be processed back to the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 days for the refund to appear back in your account once you finalise the returns process. Original shipping costs will be deducted from the refunded amount.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at perfectmatchnz@gmail.com.

Refunds are available for products purchased at full price (even if purchased during a promotional period). A refund will be processed for the amount paid for the product.

Refunds on sale items
We do not offer refunds on sale items. They are final clearance items. 

Return of earrings
Due to hygiene and health and safety reasons, we do not accept change of mind return requests.

Postage
The customer is responsible for postage costs incurred to send items back to The Perfect Match. 

Exchanges
We don't accept direct exchanges. Instead we will issue you a store credit to re-purchase your desired item/s.
